White River Academy residential treatment center, located in Delta, Utah, is one of the nation’s leading residential treatment center, providing a safe, secure and structured environment for teenage boys between the ages of 12 and 17 where they can overcome emotional and/or behavioral problems.

Parents or guardians tend to consider residential treatment centers for children only as a last resort, after they have exhausted all other treatment alternatives. We have a track record of successfully turning around the lives of troubled young adults.

The Academy occupies a former rural hospital, and students share accommodation in rooms that formerly housed patients. As with typical residential facilities for troubled youth, our students are under 24/7 supervision and given a structured schedule every day. Their time is allocated for education in a classroom setting, chores, individual and group therapy, community service, sports and other activities. Our focus on experiential learning means that everything that occurs is an opportunity for growth.

We achieve results by providing structure and rules for our students, while encouraging and guiding them to transform their lives through the personal growth and development that comes from being responsible for their actions. Students are consistently held accountable for their decisions and behavior.

White River Academy is licensed and accredited as a residential treatment center and provides educational instruction and treatment for boys who have a history of emotional disturbance, dysfunctional behavior, drug or alcohol abuse or other issues.
